Capstone Project_MLB PlayBall

As part of my NYU Sports Business capstone, I worked with Major League Baseball and the U.S. Conference of Mayors to help reimagine their PLAY BALL initiative for its 10-year anniversary. Our goal was to make youth baseball more than just a one-day event, so I pitched ideas like the “My First Throw” keepsake ball and the “250 Throws Challenge” social campaign to keep kids engaged long after they left the field. I also dug into case studies from global programs like Barça Academy and NFL FLAG to see how they build lifelong fans—and found creative ways to bring those strategies into baseball.
